Testimonials

Over the years I have taught hundreds of male and female, old and young budding guitarists with various degrees of abilities.

In this part of my website I want to share some of my students comments with you....

"David has been teaching 'the family' and it is the one lesson the kids don't moan about and actually look forward to. I have previously completed a 12 week guitar course at college and I can honestly say I learnt more in one lesson with David than I did on the whole of the 12 weeks at college."

"Guitar lessons with David are great fun! I always look forward to my weekly
lesson and have learned so much in a relatively short time without feeling
the constraints or pressures of sitting grades.

Lessons are friendly and relaxed and I really appreciate David's endless
patience, gentle encouragement and sound knowledge.

David is very adaptable and I love the fact that we can experiment with
different styles. David's enthusiasm is infectious and if you are prepared to
put in the effort, David will definitely bring out the best in you."

"In only a few sessions David Brewster was able to teach my 13 year old
daughter the basic chords. I was particularly impressed with the way that
he let HER choose the pieces which kept her totally engaged.

A few weeks after that I noticed she was plucking out melodies and
practising with no prompting! She was genuinely enjoying herself and so
proud to be able to show off her new talent to her friends and family.

If you want your child to LOVE learning the guitar, give David a call. He relates to the kids and his modern approach and techniques certainly do work.

"David has been teaching me guitar for six months now and he's absolutely
brilliant. He seems to understand just what you need to learn to get playing
quickly and well.

I sing a bit and wanted to play a semi acoustic guitar to accompany myself
singing. I enjoy singing easy classics like the Eagles. David knows how to
teach you the basic chords to get you started and with practice you can
play a few songs in the first few weeks. After that he consolidates the
chords you know and we take it from there.

Lessons are great fun, relaxed and easy going. It's more like meeting with a
friend than having a teacher as he is very encouraging and helpful, teaching
you a few tricks of the trade as you go along.

After these six months I have even sung at a few open mic' nights. I could
never have believed I would ever have the confidence to do that. So if you
are looking for a great teacher and a lot of fun while you learn to play the
guitar …give David a go."
